- A total of $13,000; $5,000 for the Lear's Macaw project in Brazil, $2,000 to the project "Parrots in Peril - in Ecuador" (an expedition which aims to increase the protection provided for three endangered parrot species in the Podocarpus National Park in Ecuador). Other Projects funded included: Buffon's Macaws (Ara ambigua guaguilensis), $3000; Blue-throated Macaws (Ara glaucogularis), $3000; and A Rescue and Release Program: Friends of Portobelo National Park, Panama, $1010.
